Sometimes we can get so caught up in how others see us, we forget to figure out who we are and who we want to be. I’ve been recently focusing (photo pun intended) on using photographs to define who I am. These aren’t even all of body or image, but of time and object and word. You can be just that in different moments: an idea, a poem, a hobby, a job, a word, an obligation, a desire, a relationship, a sound, a song. You can be so many things. But do you know that? Do you reach for that? Do you challenge yourself to see that?
